I recently had the opportunity to attend the ACP National College Media Convention in Washington D.C. To say the least, it was an amazing experience interacting with fellow student journalists and meeting influential individuals such as Donna Brazile. Here are a few snapshots from my trip:

Korean War veteran overlooks the 19 stainless steel statues at the Korean War Veterans Memorial located in Washington D.C.'s West Potomac Park Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016. The memorial pays tribute to the 5.8 billion Americans who served in the Korean War. More than 36,000 Americans lost their lives in one of the most hard fought wars in American history and an additional 103,284 were injured during battle.
